Messiah Lutheran Church...

On Sunday Sept 7 we will be celebrating RALLY SUNDAY - with ONE SERVICE ONLY at 9:30am

We will have our usual DS4 Service beginning at 9:30am - with communion also.  Immediately after the service we will begin the Celebration in the Courtyard with Cinnamon Rolls!!  Then there will be games for Kids and Adults!  there will be information tables set up in the courtyard for each of our 'service organizations'.  they will be explaining what their specific organization's do, and how to become a part of them.   VOLUNTEERING is what we need YOU TO DO.  It is imperative to have Volunteers each year to make each of these program successful.  Especially for our Children's programs with Education such as Midweek, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Christmas Program, and so much more.  If we do not have volunteers willing to give of their time to our children, we will no longer be able to have these programs.  The Youth is the foundation of our church, our future leaders, our future period!  So please attend to find out more about how you can help.  There are so many different ways to put forth your time, to be more involved in our church.. Let's make Messiah Lutheran not only Christ Centered, Family Strong, and Mission Minded, let's make it the BEST of all of those!  Thank You!

 

VACANCY COVERAGE: During the time of the call process here at Messiah, here are the pastors who will be stepping in and helping us out. Pastor Michael Schmidt of Natoma and Plainville will be filling the role of Administrative Pastor, he will be attending the Parish Life and the Board of Director meetings each month and will be in the church office on Thursdays from 10AM-4PM.  He can be reached at revschmidt@yahoo.com or at 785-885-8308. Pastor Schmidt is also the Circuit Visitor and will be assisting in the call process.

Pastor Joel Hiesterman of Phillipsburg, and a few other pastors will be filling in during our vacancy.  Please contact the office if you have any questions.

Also - Pastor Alex McNally of Ellis will be making our Nursing Home and Assisted Living visits during this time as well.  He will also be making any emergency calls that we may have.  Please contact Sandi in the office, and she will forward your information to him in the case of an emergency.

Sunday School will begin Sept 14 for PreK thru 12th being held here at Messiah on Sunday 's @ 9:45 am Unless otherwise stated

This is also the time when Adult Bible Class is held in the Courtyard!

The LYF (High School Youth)  will meet weekly on Wednesday - unless otherwise noted, at 6:15pm in the Courtyard for dinner, and runs till 8:30pm.

MIDWEEK Classes

Our Midweek Classes are held each Wednesday evening from 5:15 pm - 7:00pm unless otherwise noted.  These classes are open to all students 1st grade thru 8th grade. During the Regular Scheduled School Year from September thru April each year.
